Stewards of the Future: How Humboldt and Humboldt County Contribute to Student Success
Join us for Spring 2020 Professional Development Day. This event features a panel of community leaders who will discuss topics relevant to the future of Humboldt and Humboldt County, including economic development, equity, sustainability, emergency preparedness, innovation, and more.
Participants will also learn about the results of an Humboldt professional development survey and upcoming professional development opportunities that can help us address challenges and build an even stronger community.

Panel: Humboldt County and Humboldt's Shared Commitment to the Future of our Community
Panelists include:
- Susan Seaman, Mayor of Eureka and Program Director, Arcata Economic Development Council
- Jana Ganion, Sustainability and Government Affairs Director, Blue Lake Rancheria
- Ron White, Community Strategies Outreach Director, Humboldt Area Foundation and Equity Alliance of the North Coast
- Ryan Aylward, Warning Coordination Meteorologist, NOAA/National Weather Service
The panel will be hosted by:
- Dr. Lisa Bond-Maupin, Interim Provost and Vice-President of Academic Affairs
The moderated discussion will be followed with a brief audience Q&A.
